Membership and Policy Associate

As membership and policy associate, Amy directly supports Advance CTE’s state policy strategy and data initiative as well as the Postsecondary State CTE Leaders Fellowship Program. She also contributes to Advance CTE’s member engagement and outreach activities. Before joining the team at Advance CTE, Amy was working at Education Northwest as an Associate for Project Management and Applied Research. Amy earned her undergraduate degree in General Social Studies with an emphasis in political science from the University of Oregon. After spending several years in the classroom at KIPP Texas-Austin, she moved to Nashville to complete her Masters in Public Policy at Vanderbilt’s Peabody College. Amy has lived in cities across the country, but calls the West Coast home and recently moved back to Oregon in 2021.
