Brian Robinson

Brian directly supports Advance CTE’s strategy to improve the quality and effective use of state CTE data by supporting the research and development of frameworks and tools related to the implementation of state data systems. Brian is also responsible for managing the Learning that Works Resource Center that supports state implementation of CTE policies and programs. He also supports the management and dissemination of critical information related to the Global Career Readiness Initiative.
 
Before joining Advance CTE, Brian worked for seven years as an elementary school teacher in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. While teaching, he earned his master’s degree from American University in Education Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on policy. He is currently completing a PhD in Education Policy and Leadership from New York University with a research focus on equitable access to high-quality schools and school choice in the Washington, D.C. traditional and public charter school system.
