Massachusetts' accountability system incudes the percentage of 11th and 12th graders completing advanced coursework, which includes AP, IB, Project Lead the Way, dual enrollment courses, Chapter 74-approved vocational/technical secondary cooperative education programs and articulation agreement courses, and other selected rigorous courses.

The SQSS - which also includes chronic absenteeism - counts for 10 percent of middle and high schools.
