Hiring in the Modern Talent Marketplace

This research and report was commissioned by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to better understand the current hiring landscape. According to this research, nearly three-quarters of respondents (74%) agree that a ‘skills gap’ persists in the current U.S. labor and hiring economy. Skills are proving to be the most important factor employers are considering when filling a job and there is starting to be a shift in how employers work with higher education to equip individuals with in-demand skills. This resource would be useful to employers looking to understand recent trends in hiring and CTE leaders who are considering how to prepare learners for the workforce of the future.
