This tool, developed by the Tennessee Department of Education during Phase One of the New Skills for Youth initiative, is designed to map the scope and quality of career pathways programs. It can be used to identify courses and opportunities available through the secondary education system, the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology, state community colleges or other four-year public universities, and map those opportunities against degrees, credentials, jobs and salaries. Though designed specifically to document Tennessee career pathways, the tool can be easily modified to fit the needs of other states and illustrate the learning and credentialing opportunities available to learners.
