PIPEline to Career Success for Students with Disabilities: Root Causes & Strategies

PIPEline to Career Success provides school leaders with a tool to assist in recruiting and retaining more learners with disabilities into transition pathways within Career Technical Education (CTE)/ Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers. 

The document begins with a list of useful acronyms, and the opening chart summarizes the literature review. Part II of the report breaks down the key barriers for learners with disabilities and their families in accessing CTE programming, offering a “quick find” tool for the research and strategies to better integrate this special population into STEM career programming.
