Suela Cela joins Advance CTE as Senior Policy Associate. In this role, Suela will be supporting Advance CTE's state policy team in providing equitable opportunities for each learner. Specifically, Sueal will support the Opportunity Gap Analysis, the College in the High School Alliance network and the ReScale Project.
Suela is originally from Albania and moved to the United States as an exchange student in high school in the beautiful state of Montana. She has earned a Bachelor in Business Administration and Master in Public Administration, and has over ten years of experience working in post secondary education within areas of enrollment management, academic affairs (transfer and CTE) and accreditation. Suela has led and supported many initiatives and projects to best support learners in achieving their educational goals. Her most favorite project of all times was starting a concurrent enrollment program, providing access to high school learners to take courses for college credit. Through this program, many high school learners were able to explore college courses and get a head start on the college experience.
