ESSA School Quality and Student Success Indicators
Massachusetts’ accountability system inlcudes the percentage of 11th and 12th graders completing advanced coursework, which includes AP, IB, Project Lead the Way, dual enrollment courses, Chapter 74-approved vocational/technical secondary cooperative education programs and articulation agreement courses, and other selected rigorous courses. The SQSS – which also includes chronic absenteeism – counts for 10 percent of middle and high schools.
