As the nation places greater emphasis on workforce development and career technical education, the need to mentor and offer resources and networking opportunities to aspiring CTE leaders increases with the need to build dynamic CTE ecosystems. The Building a Diverse CTE Leadership Pipeline Toolkit provides state leaders with specific examples of administrative processes, guiding questions to assist with tailoring the toolkit to your needs, and resources to replicate the promising practices used to design and facilitate the national Postsecondary State Career Technical Education Leaders Fellowship at Advance CTE — Sponsored by ECMC Foundation. During this session, Advance CTE reviews the sections of the toolkit, highlights the successes of the Fellowship, and discusses the launch of the ECMCF-funded pilot in-state Fellowship.
