As the director of technical assistance at Advance CTE, Brenna Bartlett leads organization-wide initiatives aimed at expanding access to, and enhancing success in, high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE). Her role is focused on designing and delivering technical assistance to support states, members, and other stakeholders in effectively executing their CTE strategies and programs, including implementation of the Modernized Career Clusters® Framework.
Brenna’s career has been dedicated to empowering learners and professionals of all ages through career preparation and advancement. Most recently, she served as the assistant director of Career Technical Education at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, where she spearheaded the development and implementation of Ohio’s work-based learning framework. Brenna also led statewide efforts to integrate data-driven decision-making strategies to improve learner access, engagement, and outcomes, and managed Ohio’s regional support systems to ensure the success of local institutions. Brenna brings extensive experience in designing and facilitating learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders and deliver measurable results.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio (Go Redlegs!), Brenna earned her undergraduate degree in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. Now based in Columbus, she spends her free time volunteering and appreciating the local art scene, or traveling to bucket list destinations (most recently Red Rocks Amphitheatre!)
