Dr. Brittney Baptiste Williams is a seasoned higher education and program administration professional with over 15 years of experience in Career Technical Education (CTE), specializing in project management, budget oversight, and grant compliance. As the director of grants administration at the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Dr. Williams oversees the allocation of $24 million in Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins V) federal funds, supporting a broad network of community colleges, universities, and secondary school systems. She is a highly skilled leader known for fostering strong partnerships, developing policies, and enhancing professional development for CTE faculty and staff.

Dr. Williams has a proven track record of successfully launching state-wide initiatives, such as the Louisiana CTE Summit and multiple professional retreats, which have raised the visibility of CTE programs across the state. Her commitment to learner access is reflected in her work to improve student retention and engagement in CTE programs, and her ability to manage both fiscal and programmatic outcomes with precision.

Dr. Williams holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She also earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University. Throughout her career, Dr. Williams has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and influence policy, making her a highly regarded figure in the CTE community.

In addition to her role at the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Dr. Williams is actively involved in several professional organizations, including Advance CTE and the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE), where she coaches and mentors fellow leaders in the field. She has also received recognition as Administrator of the Year by the Louisiana Association for Career and Technical Education in 2025. As a member of Sigma Gama Rho Sorority, Inc.
