Davil Jackson is passionate about empowering youth and young adult learners and has significant experience in apprenticeship program management and career readiness advising. Currently, Jackson serves as a the Assistant Director of the Inland Empire regional K16 Collaborative at the University of California, Riverside. He earned a Multi-Craft Core Curriculum Apprenticeship Readiness Instructor Certification from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in English from California State University – San Bernardino and a master’s in Education.

Black Males' Access and Awareness of Apprenticeship Opportunities

This project aims to create a pipeline for Black male high school students to successfully transition into postsecondary CTE opportunities and, more specifically, an apprenticeship program through UC Riverside Extension.

Advance CTE Fellows are gaining the skills and connections to pursue state leadership positions and advance high-quality, equitable state postsecondary CTE systems.
