Senior Director, Policy & Advocacy

Dr. Brittani Williams is currently a senior policy leader specializing in K-12 assessment, accountability, and college and career readiness. She develops legislative strategy, protects large-scale assessment systems, and supports states in strengthening policies that promote equal access to opportunity. With more than a decade of experience in education policy, research, and advocacy, she is deeply committed to improving outcomes for learners, including student parents. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership and policy, with research focused on the experiences of Black mothering students in higher education. Dr. Williams is deeply committed to advancing high-quality postsecondary Career and Technical Education (CTE). Her work emphasizes the importance of CTE in supporting state leadership to develop policies, programs, and pathways that ensure career and college success for parenting learners.
