Cohort 1

Dr. Dimitria Harding hails from a CTE field, working for 15 years as a cytotechnologist before pursuing a career in higher education, and currently serves as Interim Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Anoka Technical College. She received a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a master’s degree in Community Health from Old Dominion University, a doctorate in Business Administration, and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership.

Successful Onboarding of Postsecondary CTE Instructors

This project aims to support the successful onboarding of postsecondary CTE instructors through the creation of training modules. The desired outcomes of this work include improving the recruitment and retention of instructors of color. Qualitative surveys will gather feedback from students and faculty to assess the impact and effectiveness of these training modules.

Advance CTE Fellows are gaining the skills and connections to pursue state leadership positions and advance high-quality, equitable state postsecondary CTE systems.
