Overcoming Equity Gaps in CTE Teacher Preparation

This project will gather thematic data to help answer how our program can become aware of possible student challenges and equity issues. The data can inform program improvements and help formalize recruitment strategies. The goal is to chart a path toward addressing our state (and national) disparities related to Black teachers but with emphasis on CTE.

Advance CTE Fellows are gaining the skills and connections to pursue state leadership positions and advance high-quality, equitable state postsecondary CTE systems.
