Jean Claude Mbomeda has over a decade of experience as a data and program coordinator at postsecondary institutions, and currently serves as Perkins Program Lead for the Workforce and Economic Development division at the California Community Colleges, Chancellor Office. He earned master’s degrees in Information Technology and Economic Planning and Development from American Intercontinental University and the United Nations Institute of Economic and Development, respectively.

Gender Equity Gaps in the Agriculture Career Cluster at a Rural-Serving Community College in Northern California

This project aims to develop a framework that will assist rural community colleges in addressing credential earning gaps among CTE students. Through analyzing longitudinal CTE program completion rate data, it will be possible to identify specific areas of focus and make recommendations for improvement.

Advance CTE Fellows are gaining the skills and connections to pursue state leadership positions and advance high-quality, equitable state postsecondary CTE systems.
