Kayla Brossett has more than a decade of experience designing and managing strategic industry and partnerships and specializes in workforce development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and student career services. Currently, she serves as the US Director of Employer Partnerships at the Wadhwani Foundation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in communications from Grambling State University.

Creating Equitable Systems for African American Women to Succeed in Registered Apprenticeship Programs Leading to High-Wage Career Pathways in Louisiana

Plan and execute a scalable registered apprenticeship program framework around short term skills credentialing, using proven workforce development strategies to support the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, with a focus on engaging employers who want to skill and hire African American women.
