As Associate Director, Communications, Stacy develops and executes a communications strategy to effectively communicate Advance CTE’s initiatives and the work of its members. Stacy also leads a state cohort on innovation and equity in state CTE recruitment and communication systems, and implements outreach and professional development to support state leaders in their efforts to advance Advance CTE’s mission, vision and priorities.
Prior to joining Advance CTE, Stacy served in state government and on Capitol Hill as support staff to a state cabinet secretary and a member of Congress. She has also served for campaigns at the federal and state level as a campaign manager, regional director and district fundraiser. Stacy also served as a self-employed consultant for a variety campaigns in 2019.
Stacy originally hails from Richmond, Virginia and received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington, where she currently serves on the College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Committee.
