Candi Collier is a veteran Career Technical Education (CTE) educator with 25 years of experience as a marketing teacher, DECA advisor, district CTE director, and state director. Candi oversees a team of program managers and Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) state advisors, as well as personnel supporting data and the implementation of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins V). She works with 130 CTE directors to ensure quality programs across the state of Tennessee. The state’s initiatives include career exploration, early postsecondary opportunities, work-based learning experiences, industry credential attainment, and military readiness. Tennessee is an early adopter of the modernized Career Clusters Framework.
At home, she is mother of two, grandmother of two, and avid outdoor enthusiast.
