This toolkit provides effective messages targeted to key audiences and strategies for dissemination to increase participation in Credit for Prior Learning among adult learners who are pursuing career pathways and CTE programs of study that lead to jobs in in-demand fields.
This toolkit builds on Advance CTE’s Embedding Credit for Prior Learning in Career Pathways Policy Benchmark Tool released last year and supports CTE leaders in meeting Core Element 3: CPL Processes Are Transparent, Seamless and Learner Centered.
This tool was produced through JPMorgan Chase’s New Skills ready network, a five year, $35 million initiative aimed at developing equitable career pathways and policy recommendations that give underserved students access to higher education and real-world work experiences that lead to high-wage, in-demand jobs.
