Advance CTE, with support from the Siemens Foundation, commissioned focus groups and a national survey to explore the attitudes of parents and students currently involved in Career Technical Education (CTE), as well as prospective CTE parents and students, to better understand the promise and opportunity of CTE. Advance CTE published the findings from this research in The Value and Promise of Career Technical Education: Results from a National Survey of Parents and Students. This guide from Advance CTE provides ideas for how local leaders can use the messages and research from the Value and Promise of Career Technical Education report to communicate the importance of CTE effectively, especially to the most important audiences- student and parents.
