New Skills ready network 2024-2025 Snapshot: Dallas, Texas

Dallas, Texas is one of the six sites selected to participate in the New Skills ready network. This five-year initiative, launched by JPMorgan Chase in 2020 and completing in 2025, aims to improve student completion of high-quality career pathways. 

This snapshot provides an overview of key successes in the fifth and final year, and priorities to sustain the work beyond the end of the initiative. Over the past year, the site’s work and progress centered around: 

  • Assessing platforms, data systems and tools that are beneficial to learners and support partner needs
  • Broadening virtual access at the secondary level while preserving infrastructure for postsecondary WBL experiences
  • Accessing labor market information to provide  high-quality data for partners
