The Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship Data Framework was developed to guide and support youth apprenticeship partnerships in building out data systems that monitor the effectiveness of youth apprenticeship programs. This framework is meant to be used as the foundation to support the data capacity of programs. By using this framework, programs can begin to start the conversation around what data partners are collecting, what gaps exist in the data collection process, how to expand data sharing agreements and how to determine what data infrastructure will be needed to improve data capacity.
Through this framework, state and local leaders will be able to establish a consistent vision for definitions, measures and communications on data in youth apprenticeships. While the tool was largely developed for local and/or regional programming, it can also work to inform state level efforts to collect youth apprenticeship data, creating more alignment across multiple systems.
