Community colleges play a critical role in helping learners earn the certificates and credentials necessary to be successful in the workforce. Yet there are a number of barriers to delivering high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) at community colleges, such as funding, accreditation and transfer policies, that limit the effectiveness of community college programs and hold learners back from achieving career success.
