Yolanda Terrell was selected for the 15-member inaugural cohort of the Postsecondary State Career Technical Education (CTE) Leaders Fellowship at Advance CTE– Sponsored by ECMC Foundation. The 15-month national Fellowship strives to advance diversity state postsecondary Career Technical Education leadership through an intensive experience of workshops, coaching and a real-world project dedicated to build the knowledge and social capital to be a skilled, equity-minded leader.  Terrell has over two decades of experience in a variety of roles across business, higher education support and CTE instruction, and currently serves as the Career and Technical Education Coordinator for the Alabama Community College System. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Management, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Troy University, and is certified as a Master Trainer for the National Center for Construction Education & Research.
