Amid widespread COVID-19 closures, barriers to earning high-value industry certifications and licenses can create a twofold challenge for state leaders. Not only are learners unable to complete the requirements to earn a credential, but they are also unable to earn the qualifications they need to enter critical industries and support the ongoing health crisis and economic recovery. What can states do to maintain credentialing opportunities in the COVID-19 era?
