  • Build and affirm consensus and commitment across key stakeholders to the vision for high-quality CTE
  • Inform the debate with provocative thought leaders
  • Prioritize action steps to achieve the vision, including steps taken at the national level by organizations and associations, as well as within and across states

Sessions
Over the course of three days, participants will engage in an array of interactive small- and full-group activities such as “walkabouts,” “shift and shares,” “scenario planning,” and “narrative building.” Topics of sessions will include: trends and forces impacting society and the workforce; future state educational scenarios and their impact on CTE; and actions various stakeholders can take to realize the vision for CTE.

The sequence of activities is intentional, designed to build consensus towards a set of clear and specific principles that will lay the groundwork for the new vision for CTE. This agenda will be facilitated by PwC and informed by Summit participants during a variety of input methods over the summer months. A final agenda will be released in September 2015.
