Terri Tchorzynski has served as a student advocate for over 17 years in the role of both a high school teacher and school counselor with a specialized focus on career development and Career and Technical Education. Under Terri’s leadership, her counseling department has been recognized for exemplary practices in college/career readiness by the Michigan Department of Education and was one of the first schools in her state to be honored as a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP). Terri was named the 2017 National School Counselor of the Year by the American School Counselor Association and was honored in a White House ceremony by former First Lady Michelle Obama. She currently serves as President-Elect for the Michigan School Counselor Association, is a national trainer for Advance CTE and is a nationally recognized keynote speaker.
