In 2018, Advance CTE, with generous support from the Joyce Foundation, began working with the Colorado Community College System and the Illinois Community College Board to examine program quality at the postsecondary level. Using Advance CTE’s Policy Benchmark Tool on CTE Program Approval, both states evaluated approval processes at the state level. Each state identified strengths and areas for improvement and made changes accordingly. In this webinar we will hear from Colorado and Illinois about what this process looked like and the work they did to improve program review and approval.
