Brittany is from North Carolina and recently worked as a Career Technical Education (CTE) educator and advised the DECA CTSO chapter there as well. Her experience in secondary education led to the discovery of her passion for high quality CTE programs, specifically the transfer of real-world knowledge and 21-st century skills to the younger generations.

Brittany completed her undergraduate studies, majoring in Advertising and Marketing, at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. Shortly after beginning to teach, she enrolled in a masters program for curriculum and instruction, which introduced her more to educational philosophy, visions and policies. She is grateful to be here with Advance CTE on their journey to advancing CTE in our schools. She believes to be receiving the best of both worlds – marketing and education – by fulfilling the role of Senior Associate, Digital Media. Brittany will be lead the strategy for Advance CTE’s social media networks, monthly Member Newsletter, operating Advance CTE’s website and marketing for Advance CTE’s reports, papers and resources.
