Brittany Veal

Finance Manager

Brittany Veal brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, grant administration, finance, and accounting. She has held key roles at Indiana Black Expo and Indiana University, where she led efforts to streamline processes, implement organization-wide systems, and increase access to resources across all nine campuses. Brittany holds a master’s in management from Indiana Wesleyan University and is passionate about building operational systems that support mission-driven work and long-term sustainability.

Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to expanding opportunity and community impact—values that align deeply with Advance CTE’s mission. In addition to her professional experience, Brittany is a trained doula and co-founder of a birthworker collective that supports more than two dozen doulas. Her work in maternal health and culturally responsive care reflects her dedication to removing barriers and creating pathways for individuals and families to thrive.

At Advance CTE, she’s excited to support the organization’s vision through sound financial stewardship and operational excellence, ensuring that systems are in place to help every learner find success through high-quality CTE.

Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying live music, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes (some more successful than others!). She’s also the proud dog mom to an 18-year-old senior yet spunky Yorkie who totally runs the show!
