Kayla Brossett was selected for the second, 15-member cohort of the Postsecondary State Career Technical Education Leaders Fellowship at Advance CTE— Sponsored by ECMC Foundation. This 15-month national Fellowship strives to advance diverse state postsecondary Career Technical Education (CTE) leadership through an intensive experience of workshops, coaching, and a real-world project dedicated to building the knowledge and social capital to be a skilled, equity-minded state leader. Brossett has more than a decade of experience designing and managing strategic industry and partnerships and specializes in workforce development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and student career services. Currently, she serves as the US Director of Employer Partnerships at the Wadhwani Foundation . She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in communications from Grambling State University.
