Bio: 

Victoria Crownover serves as the Assistant State Director for Career Technical Education (CTE) Accountability at the Colorado Community College System. In this role, she works with the 200+ districts, community colleges, state institutions and consortia to implement high-quality CTE supported by solid data and grant practices with a focus on equity and continuous improvement. Victoria helped lead Colorado’s transition to Perkins V including the development of a statewide strategic plan for CTE based on feedback from a wide range of stakeholders so that learners have access to and are supported in and along their career pathway. 

Prior to joining the Colorado CTE Team, Victoria worked for nearly a decade as an Internal Auditor for the Colorado Community College System and conducted financial, process and grant audits as well as serving as the Methods of Administration Coordinator for Colorado.  She has experience working and teaching at a community college and is passionate about the opportunities that education provides.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Kansas State University and a master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Denver as well as an industry-recognized credential as a Certified Internal Auditor. In addition to her work experience, Victoria has served on the National Association of Career and Technical Education Audit Committee and as a volunteer in multiple professional and community organizations. She is a Lifetime Member and Gold Award recipient of Girl Scouts of the USA where she is actively involved in the organization as a leader, cookie mom and adult volunteer.
