ESSA School Quality and Student Success Indicators
Idaho’s SQSS indicator includes advanced opportunity participation, industry-recognized certification attainment and/or participation in recognized high school apprenticeships. The indicator also includes a growth measure, calculated as the difference between the percent of college- and career-ready students in comparative years of the school identification cycle. The SQSS indicator is weighted at 10 percent of the accountability score to identify schools for comprehensive or targeted improvement. However, each indicator is reported publicly for maximum transparency.
