ESSA School Quality and Student Success Indicators

New Hampshire’s SQSS Indicator includes a college- and career-ready (CCR) measure at the high school level. Under the CCR indicator, seniors are considered ready if they do two of the following:

  • Complete dual enrollment,
  • Earn a SAT/ACT college-ready benchmark score,
  • Earn passing scores on AP/IB exams,
  • Earn a CTE-recognized credential,
  • Complete a New Hampshire career pathway program, or
  • Earn an ACT Career Readiness Certificate.

At the high school level, CCR is weighted at 40 percent of the total accountability score.
