This webinar was a viewing session and panel discussion for the Journey to CTE Leadership video series which shares the authentic journey of four Fellows from the inaugural cohort of The Postsecondary State Career Technical Education Leaders Fellowship at Advance CTE – Sponsored by ECMC Foundation (Fellowship). Within each video, the Fellows share their personal journey to Career Technical Education (CTE) leadership, some of the barriers they have faced, and practical and replicable steps, actions and supports for state leaders to recruit, train and retain aspiring individuals to build a robust leadership pipeline of demographically diverse CTE leaders.
During this webinar we viewed the videos and had an opportunity to speak with the featured Fellows about their experience and recommendations for state leaders to make leadership positions more welcoming to diverse and aspiring talent.
