The alumni of the Postsecondary State Career Technical Education Leaders Fellowship at Advance CTE – sponsored by ECMC Foundation are addressing the current challenges associated with providing high-quality CTE programming to all postsecondary learners. Based on their extensive backgrounds in education and participation in the Fellowship, these postsecondary CTE leaders offer a nuanced perspective on program and institutional administrative practices and policies.
The alumni of the first two cohorts of the Fellowship are from varied postsecondary positions from deans of departments at community colleges, four-year university instructors, and associate state postsecondary CTE directors to adult education administrators housed in K-12 institutions. They are mid-career CTE professionals with a clear goal of postsecondary state leadership.
